The defect

The driver's seat belt pre-tensioner may not operate when required.

The hazard

Under certain conditions, in the event of an accident the driver's seat belt pre-tensioner may not operate when required, increasing the risk of injury to the driver.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified and advised to take their vehicle to a Jaguar authorised retailer who will correctly wire the Restraints Control Module connector.
