The defect

Some vehicles have incorrectly crimped wiring in the plug for the seatbelt pretensioners.

The hazard

This could potentially cause an SRS system warning light and diagnostic code to become active in the SRS system. If the defect is not rectified, the driver may not be alerted to any other warnings.

The remedy

Owners will receive a letter instructing them to contact their preferred Foton Motor Dealer.
