The defect

There is a possibility of an intermittent fault code that may inhibit deployment of the side curtain airbag.

The hazard

If the airbag does not deploy correctly there is an increased risk of injury to the driver during a collision.

The remedy

Affected customers have been notified by mail. Customers should contact their nearest Mahindra Dealer to have upgraded software installed.The installation process generally should take 5-7 mins to complete and no parts are required to be changed during the upgrade.
