The defect

On vehicles manufactured prior to 27th March 2011, the adhesive primer may have not been applied during installation of the panorama glass roof. In the worst case scenario, the roof glass could become detached.

The hazard

If the roof glass becomes detached, this may pose a hazard to the driver and/or other road users.

The remedy

Mitsubishi is notifying all affected customers by letter. Owners are advised to contact their authorised Mitsubishi dealership for inspection and rectification if required.
