The defect

The Power Distribution Center (PDC) may overheat, causing a loss of function of the Antilock Brake System (ABS) and/or Electronic Stability Control (ESC).

The hazard

A loss of ABS/ESC under certain driving conditions could cause an accident without warning.

The remedy

A letter is being sent to affected owners. Alternatively, consumers can contact their Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge distributor/dealer to schedule a service appointment at their convenience.
