The defect

When bringing a vehicle equipped with the SE5 semi-automatic transmission to a full stop, the clutch may remain engaged stalling the engine. Once the engine is stalled, it could be impossible to re-start and the rear wheel could be blocked.

The hazard

If this defect occurs it may be impracticable to push the vehicle off the roadway increasing the risk of a crash possibly resulting in injury or death

The remedy

Contact your authorised BRP Spyder dealer and make an appointment to have your vehicle repaired. BRP will update the centrifugal clutch assembly with new components free of cost.
