The defect

The strength of the wire clip retaining the oil pressure pipe to the clutch master cylinder may be insufficient allowing the pipe to become disconnected during clutch operation.

The hazard

This will result in clutch fluid loss and the inability to operate the clutch.

The remedy

Mistubishi will be contacting all owners via mail on 12 May 2010 requesting you contact your Mitsubishi dealer for replacement of retaining clip of clutch feed oil pipe with a modified type.
