The defect

A software problem may exist in the Front Control Module (model 300C) or the Totally Integrated Power Module (PT Cruiser) which could affect the correct functioning of the directional 'telltale' lights in the instrument cluster in the event of a failure to an external turn indicator globe. In this case the driver does not receive proper feedback when a turn indicator globe fails.
