The defect

Due to a software issue, when the front seat height is lowered the seat may also move rearwards, which could result in trapping a rear occupant’s legs.

The hazard

In the event of an accident, if the rear occupant’s legs are trapped, this could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.

The remedy

Consumers will be contacted by a Bentley retailer to arrange an appointment to affect a repair free of charge.
