The defect
Vacuum pipes were fitted which may leak due to a production fault. This can affect the vaccuum supply to the brake servo and can lead to a loss of braking assistance.

The remedy
Owners of affected vehicles are being contacted by mail and are requested to contact an Authorised Volkswagen Service Centre to have the Brake servo vacuum pipes inspected and replaced if necessary, at no charge. For further enquiries, please contact Volvo.
