Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.

The defect

The electrical circuits in the left-hand switch cube may not function correctly due to an incorrect seal. If water penetrates the seal, the turn signal indicator and headlamp control switches may not function correctly.

The hazard

If the turn signal indicator does not function correctly, other motorists may not know the motorcycle operator’s intent. If the headlamp does not activate, the ability for other motorists to detect the motorcycle, and the operator’s forward visibility, may be reduced. In both cases, there is an increased risk of a vehicle crash.

The remedy

Consumers should make an appointment with authorised Triumph Dealers as soon as possible to have their motorcycle rectified by having the original left hand switch cube replaced with a new version. For help finding a Triumph Dealer, consumers can go to http://www.triumphmotorcycles.com.au/dealers/find-a-dealer
