The defect

The Australian Design Rules (ADR 61/02) require a compliance label to be fitted to vehicles. The compliance label was printed with an incorrect seating capacity of 8, instead of the correct seating capacity of 7, which should have been printed on the compliance label.

The hazard

The vehicle is not compliant with the Australian Design Rule 61/02.

The remedy
