The defect

On affected vehicles, there is the possibility that their DUONIC transmissions may experience various shift issues due to contamination of the transmission’s hydraulic system. As a consequence, there is the remote possibility the engine may stall or the vehicle may become immobile. In such cases, the transmission won’t shift from Neutral to any gear.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, the vehicle may pose an accident hazard to other road users.

The remedy

A letter will be sent to owners of affected vehicles.
