The defect

Due to inappropriate installation of the switch sleeve in the brake booster, the tip of the switch sleeve may break.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, the brake pedal will not be released and it will not be possible to drive the vehicle, posing an accident hazard to the driver and other road users.

The remedy

Consumers should check for the specific production dates on the base of the brake booster. Consumers will be contacted directly by Mitsubishi.For further information consumers should call 1300 131 211 or contact their nearest Mitsubishi Dealer.
