The defect

In certain vehicles, an electric line in the engine compartment may have been routed incorrectly. This line may chafe on a reinforcement strut during vehicle operation.

The hazard

If an electrical line chafes on one of the reinforcement struts in the engine bay, this could result in a short circuit and possible fire, which could cause an injury.
