The defect

The outlet exhaust pipe is incorrectly positioned, which may cause heat damage to some braking system components, such as the service brake relay valve, which may melt.

The hazard

If the service brake relay valve melts, there may be increased stopping distance when the brakes are applied, increasing the risk of an accident or injury to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy
