The defect

The cab power and ground cable terminals (eyelets) may crack and eventually fail where the terminal attaches to the cab pass through plate.

Possible loss of power, therefore immobilising the vehicle and posing a potential safety risk for the occupants or other road users.

The remedy

Volvo Group Australia will contact affected owners by direct mail. Consumers should call their closest authorised Volvo Group Australia repairing dealer and book their vehicle in for an inspection as soon as possible.
