The defect
The holes in the rear shock absorber tie-rod frame mounts could become elongated if the rear shock absorber bottoms out.

The hazard
This may prevent the rear shock absorber from operating correctly and could result in a loss of control of the motorcycle.
The remedy
Consumers are advised to return their motorcycle to an Authorised Kawasaki Dealer to have an inspection and in some cases, have a preventative repair kit fitted to their motorcycle free of charge.
