The defect

Right hand tubular driveshaft may fracture and separate causing sudden loss of driving power.

The hazard

If the driveshaft fractures and then separates without warning the vehicle will endure a sudden loss of drive, potentially posing an accident hazard to the driver and other road users.

The remedy

Customers should contact their nearest Holden Dealer for a free of charge inspection, and if necessary a replacement Driveshaft.
