The defect

Air suspension systems may contain wrong material for the Leaf Stopper. While driving, the Stopper and Leaf come into contact when travelling over a speed bump, and the load may not be fully absorbed.

The hazard

If the Stopper fatigues, cracks and falls out of the truck, this may cause a traffic hazard and risk to people in the immediate area.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should contact their local Hino dealership for a free of charge Rebound Roller replacement.Consumers can contact Hino on 1300 01 HINO (1300 014 466) or their preferred dealer.
