The defect

Due to a production non-conformity, the brake line retaining clip may not be fixed correctly to the clamping fastener on the firewall.

The hazard

The brake lines may rub against other mechanical parts and potentially rupture the brake lines, posing a risk of an accident or injury to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy

FCA Australia will contact all the affected owners to present their vehicle to their preferred authorised Fiat Professional dealer to inspect the brake pipes, and ensure they are positioned and fixed correctly.
