The defect

The vehicle is affected by non-conforming front brake discs whose mechanical characteristics are non-compliant. This may cause a risk of reduction in the braking efficiency and could potentially result in a broken brake disc under heavy loads. In addition, the windscreen wiper motor may fail.

These defects may result in an accident occurring and causing potential injury to occupants or passerby.

The remedy

FCA Australia will notify vehicle owners who should take their vehicle to a Fiat Professional dealership where the recall will be conducted. Upon inspection of the vehicle by the authorised dealer, it will be determined whether replacement parts will be required.
