The defect
The start motor 12V connection lug may be fitted incorrectly and may touch a metal component causing a short circuit.

The hazard
If the starter motor connection lug touches another metal component it may cause a short circuit and this may pose a fire hazard.
The remedy
Citroen Automobiles Australia will contact all known owners by mail and advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred Citroen dealer to have the starter motor connection inspected and if necessary, reposition the connection lug free of charge.
