The defect

The airbag system occupant restraint control (ORC) module may experience a front airbag and/or seatbelt pre-tensioner inadvertent deployment.

An inadvertent deployment while driving may pose an accident hazard.

The remedy

FCA Australia will notify vehicle owners who can take their vehicle to a Jeep dealership whereby the vehicle will be repaired.
