The defect

The centre console switchpack may suffer a loss of illumination and operation of certain functions in the centre console, due to a software fault.

The hazard

If the functions fail, the hazard warning lights and defrost demist functionality of the vehicle will not work, increasing the risk of an accident.

The remedy

Affected owners will be contacted by mail.Consumers should contact their nearest Bentley Dealer via https://www.bentleymotors.com/en/apps/dealer-locator.html/country/AU-Australia to arrange to have upgraded software installed.
