The defect

Part of the aluminium trim strips in the loudspeaker of the front or rear door trim may become detached.

The hazard

The ends of the aluminium trim strip may come loose and protrude. Cuts and other injuries from the sharp edges could occur to the driver and passengers of the vehicle.

The remedy

Audi Australia Pty Ltd is contacting all known owners of affected vehicles. All four aluminium trim strips will be replaced on the vehicles affected.Consumers should contact their nearest Audi Dealer to arrange for inspection and repair.
