The defect

Engine oil may enter the brake servo via the vacuum lines. If this should happen, the diaphragm in the brake servo can rupture, causing the brake servo to fail.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, stopping time may be increased, posing a potential accident hazard to the driver and other road users.

The remedy

Consumers will be contacted via post, and should take their vehicle to their nearest Audi dealership for inspection and repairs.
